This girl has painted since childhood. Nothing is more intriguing that trying to figure out how to represent a 3 dimensional world on a flat surface. The point is to take you to that place that lives within my mind, they way I see it. I always hope to glorify the beauty of nature or the soft curve of a cheek. I'm seeking to add the emotional response in addition to representing the subject, so the viewer can take a break and make that connection that allows relaxation, even for a few moments.

I really taught myself for most of my years but I learned how much is gained from taking workshops from artists I admire.  Artists are the most generous people out there and I'm grateful for the help and encouragement I've received. I continue to share what I've learned with others as well. I think this is my favorite season of life so far.
